    1Password and Quicken Online/Turbo Tax

Not sure who else is using Quicken Online, but they just came out with an upgraded site. Unfortunately, I cannot get 1Password to correctly fill in the login info. Whenever I try filling it in, Quicken Online says I entered the wrong User name or password. I tried deleting the saved login in 1Password then creating a new one, but to no avail.

Any help?... Or is this something that will need to be changed within the app in a future version?

It looks like another case of sites being naive about using

    Code:
    onfocus="this.value=''"
to clear out fields. For now, try setting your Quicken Online record's Submit attribute to Never in 1Password. This will require you to manually click "Continue" but it should work better.

We're considering ways to handle this increasingly common practice in a future version of 1Password.

    Still broken...

I've been having the same problem, and after just following the advice to change to "Never Submit," it's still not working. For some reason, the password doesn't seem to fill at all.
Ok, so I flog my blog:

That URL only gives access to turbotax, not Quicken Online.

Sorry dthree, it's the only URL we've been able to find that doesn't trip up 1Password with all the JavaScript tricks it uses. I wasn't sure whether any Intuit login page could be used, so thanks for answering that question. We will work on 1Password's handling of such forms in the future.

    Also, welcome to the forums!

Any News on this? I'd really like to be able to use this to access this site.

We're talking about this url, right?

If so, this has not been fixed yet. As Jamie mentioned, that page clears the password whenever you place focus on it. You can actually test it yourself by entering your password and then clicking on the username; when you click on the password field again it will clear itself.

This is actually a very tricky problem to solve as basically we have to disable their javascript on the site or completely change the way fields are filled, which could easily break more sites than it fixes.
    Cheers!

    Really a Pain.

Just another vote for work on fixing this page since it continues to not work with 1 password:

    Thanks!

Yeah, definitely annoying. Here's to hoping you guys can come up with a creative solution. Perhaps removing the onfocus event of any password input fields prior to 1password taking action? (I'm sure you've thought of that, so there's no need to respond with an explanation of why it won't work

    Still Broken - Quicken Notified

My wife and I just started using quicken online and they are still using the same JavaScript that prevents anyone from logging in using 1password. Grrr...
I have submitted a quicken feedback form and started a thread on quickens online forum. Don't know if they will do anything but we will see. I have posted the problem on their community forum at http://www.quickencommunity.com/webx...iscussions/467
Maybe if we get a lot of visitors and comments quicken will pay attention to this problem. Here's to hoping quicken bureaucracy doesn't get in the way of usability and security.

    Fixed

Looks like it is working again. Not sure if it was something Quicken changed or if it was my update to 1password 3. Either way I am very glad that it is working again.

Thanks for the update Mike! I'm glad it is working again.

I believe it was a change on the quicken site as 1Password 3 has not made many changes to the form filling code.
    Cheers!
